Md. Alhaj Noor Rahman founded the school on August 28, 1972. Madhupur Shahid Smrity High School, which was the first to be recognized as a progressive school under the government’s education expansion policy in the 1995-1996 academic year, also debuted as a college under the name Madhupur Shahid Smrity Higher Secondary School. He first appeared for the SSC examination in 1976 and the HSC examination in 1997. Madhupur Shahid Smrity Higher Secondary School publishes an annual literary magazine called “Jagran”.
